Recpro delivers within FinTech

RecPro recently started a collaboration with one of Swedens leading banks. Two consultants were contracted in the beginning  of autumn 2020 to support Business and Tech recruitment. The special circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic didn’t stop our consultants from making a powerful impact within the client  Organization. We had a quick chat with Sam, the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at our client, to hear what he had to say about our work so far.

Sam started his position in April 2019 with the huge task of modernizing the in-house Talent Acquisition function. Since then, he’s been implementing a lot of changes in the global TA-strategy including, but not limited to, re-organizations, recruitment, and making sure the organization has the right system toolbox to make the teams more effective.  According to Sam, there are three key factors to create a successful TA- function: 

1. Relevance - Talent Acquisition needs to be in touch with the latest trends in the market. "You need to be equipped with the latest methods and tools in the talent market to meet managers' expectations and support the business efficiently and intelligently"

 2. An agile mindset - which is a complex process. We need to start realigning concepts and not only focus on experience but competence and potential as well. This shift in mindset takes time and needs to be implemented in all departments.

3.The team - you need a very dynamic team. Before you only recruited people with a Human Resource background to TA, now you recruit people from the business world, including finance, who understand the business and the objectives better. So, Sam, how do we fare in this challenging new world within TA and how are our consultants doing?

Which begs the question - what is a typical RecPro client? There is no easy answer to this as our clients range from small businesses with no HR or Talent Acquisition team where our role becomes to implement a recruitment function and build up processes from scratch to large corporations where we step in to leverage operational recruitment, Employer Branding and reconstruct processes to make them more effective. This recent collaboration is a perfect example of a successful partnership, where our consultants’ operational experience within Talent Acquisition has made a big impact within the client organization.
